The Kingdom of God RHEMA WORD (10 / 12/ 07)

(Matthew 6:31-33) “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat? Or ‘What shall we drink? Or ‘What shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

A kingdom is where a king rules. The kingdom of God is wherever God rules and reigns over His subjects. (Luke 17:21) Jesus said: “The kingdom of God is within you”. It is not a visible kingdom, but a spiritual kingdom, because God is spirit.

(Matthew 6:10)  Jesus said in the ‘Lord’s Prayer’: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Apparently, the kingdom of God will come on Earth when the will of God is respected here as it is in heaven, reflecting His spiritual, heavenly kingdom. Ultimately, the physical world will be subject to God’s power, instantly without question. And resistance to God’s will be removed.

The kingdom of God will be eternal. At the present time, it is an invisible kingdom here in our midst. Wherever there are those who honor Jesus Christ, the King, and wherever the Spirit of the King is, there is the kingdom of God.
