Peace RHEMA WORD (8/14/07)

(Jn. 14:27)  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

(Jn. 16:33)  “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

(Phl. 4:6-7)  “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Luke 1:79)  To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the way of peace.

(Isaiah 26:3-4) “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.”

Peace: (Shalom) mean wholeness and well-being in all areas of life. What is it?

(1) Its a hello or good-by greeting.

(2) It denotes the absence of conflict, safety, wholeness, completeness and well-being in all relationships of life.

(3) Its a gift from God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit, as a blessing for His people.

(4) It is achieved at the cross, justified through faith, and developed through a close relationship with God.

(5) The wicked won’t receive Gods peace, but we seek perfect peace, unto the coming of Christ.
