Father I wander why there are so many preachers, and teachers which preach and teach man’s religious, denominational bios and theory, as if it is absolute theological fact. They become completely closed minded to any scriptural disagreement, which contradicts their preconceived bios. It bothers me to listen to their dogmatic bold attitudes, by proclaiming their opinion, as fact. Unfortunately, through television, millions are being led astray, expecting a great escape, completely unprepared to face coming tribulation. These well known speakers are respected, educated, with good intentions. Yet they may cause many to fall away from the Christian Church; if their prophetic interpretations of scripture are wrong.
“Sheep follow the herd. There are Sheppard’s with good intent and a desire to help others, but they have allowed the teaching of men to infiltrate their thinking. Even though they claim to be like the Barrens’, searching the scriptures to see if they were taught correctly. Yet they tend to hold on to a degree of spiritual arrogance, passed on by their teachers, who received from their past teachers, passing on traditional teaching as a generational curse.
It is easier to except the familiar, than to except the unfamiliar. That is why people must rely on the inspiration and discernment of the Holy Spirit to guide them into all truth. Imagine what it was like when Jesus walked the earth, teaching true revelation, with direct inspiration, illumination and discernment of the Holy Spirit. He saw directly into the thoughts of the people, where the intents of their hearts were revealed, with nothing hidden. Man, by nature, believes that his thoughts and understanding are correct.
The strong willed person is the most difficult to change, yet they usually become the leaders. Those with weak wills are more mold-able, but tend to lack conviction. There are different degrees of this in every person. The strong willed person has the greatest conviction and makes the best leaders, but it is hardest to humble them for change.
Saul / Paul was such a man with a strong will, which required intense humbling, before becoming the apostle spoken of in scripture. He was dedicated, and highly educated in the scriptures by the greatest teachers of his time. He originally had spiritual pride, knowing that he was among the elite religious leaders, willing ready, and actively pursuing what he believed to be the true work of God. What he perceived as good, was going against Me. I gave all people an opportunity to confront the truth.
Paul had that confrontation and chose to change (repent). Likewise, many who are deceived today are like Saul, not yet ready, not completely humbled. Some will repent and change, and others will face the consequences.”
