Desire Determines Gods fullness in you RHEMA WORD (8/10/07)

“Walk in My ways and you will experience the coming of the Lord. I have not come for those who do not seek Me, nor want Me, nor desire to walk in My ways.

Your degree of desire will determine how much of Me you will receive. To those who desire Me, I will show forth My commitment toward them. Desire is the key to becoming My chosen. Even though many are called, few are chosen, because many say they desire me with their tongue, their actions and heart’s desire show something different.

Many are trapped in the ways of this world. They are preoccupied with all forms of idolatry, pursuits of fame, fortune, pleasure and every form of self seeking gratification. Their desires are scattered every-ware, but not toward Me, and My kingdom.

Many will come to me on ‘Judgment Day’ and say: ‘But Lord we have done this or that, and we have said this or that’. But I will say to them: ‘Where were the desires of your heart, and what were your motives’? To whom did you give your commitment, allegiance and love? When did you do these things for Me, and for what reason?

Words mean nothing to Me, without a genuine heart’s desire, proper motive, followed by works. I know the secrets of the heart. If someone says they will do something for Me with their words, and doesn’t do it, they show themselves to be a liar and a deceiver, who uses words to convince others that they are someone who they are not. Their motive is deceptive and self-seeking to gain approval from those unaware.

Many of these people have allowed deception and lies to corrupt and consume their lives.  For many I am unable to penetrate and convict them of religious pride and ego. I am looking for those who are humble and open, receptive and honest before Me and others.

When they humble themselves before me, repent, and allow Me to destroy their pride and arrogance, then I can do My work in them. This is why I came to save the lost sinner, and not the (self righteous). Many see themselves as the righteous and others as unrighteous sinners. This thinking shows that they are the ones with a self righteous religious arrogance.

Scripture says that all have sinned, and fall short of what I require. The humble, broken sinner can receive my forgiveness and pardon, receiving the fullness of My salvation. I show grace to the humble, and have contempt toward the proud. Religious pride is a deceptive weapon used by the adversary, causing many to think they are mine, but are not.

They are the ones who possess the very nature that caused Lucifer to fall, by placing themselves on a pedestal of pride. In their hearts they are saying and flaunting: ‘Look at me and see how spiritual and great I am.’ I seek those who see themselves, for who they really are.

The humble say: ‘Father, have mercy on me a sinner, take my life as a servant to serve you. I am weak, but You are strong, I was lost, but now I am found. Take all I have, I commit to you everything, and vow to serve You all the days of my life. I seek to serve, honor and praise You with all my heart, soul, and mind.’

To these, I will give the keys to the kingdom. These are those who will be great in My Kingdom. Many are called, but few are chosen. Humble yourself before Me and I will lift you up.”
