Father, help me to fully trust in your trustworthiness?
(Proverbs 3:5-6) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
Trust: means that trusting in Gods faithfulness. (Ps. 34:10) (Ps. 37:4) (Pr. 10:24) (Is. 55:11)
(Matthew 21:22) (John 14:13-14) (Romans 4:20-21), God always keeps his promises.
Direct: (str. 3474) means to be straight, right, upright, pleasing, and good. God will straighten out the crooked path of His devoted, trusted servant.
Ways: means a road, a course, or a mode of action. It suggests specific opportunities a person my encounter on a recurring basis. All our days we should acknowledge God, and by doing this, He will direct our paths.
Acknowledge: (str. 3045) means to know by observation, investigation, reflection, or firsthand experience. The highest level is in direct, intimate contact. This is referring to life-giving intimacy, as in a marriage. In this context it refers to intimacy with God in prayer that conceives and births blessings and victories.
