“First you must truly know the Lord your God, by having a personal, intimate relationship. And as our relationship deepens, your love will grow. Without a relationship, real love cannot take root, nor grow. If you have a sincere desire to seek and know me, displayed through action, then I will come to you, and reveal the fullness of who I Am.
You cannot truly know My love unless you personally know Me, spend time with Me, to receive the love I have for you. For I Am love, and the source of love. Creation exists because of love, so that I may love, and be loved. And because I had first loved you before you were created, I have also created you and all of mankind in My image, with a desire to love, and to be loved. Love is pivotal in My purpose and destiny for all creation.
My love is displayed throughout creation, and the nature of My heart and ways are displayed in the reproduction of life, through the natural love most animals have for their own newborn offspring. But because the world is corrupted, the natural order of My created love was also corrupted.
The adversary has been corrupting the true nature of love since the time of their fall. The natures of the fallen ones were corrupted, and the love they once had became corrupted into rebellion and hatred toward the One who is love. Their very nature corrupted into the opposite of the nature of love; hating, and seeking to destroy those who love Me. The obsession that led to rebellion by Lucifer and those with him was self pride and exalted ego to be as God.
Self love is often misunderstood. And pride is not the same as self love. Pride is exalting yourself above others, as the most important. By nature they are self centered, and are takers, rather than givers; which displays the nature and character of lust and greed of every kind. True love is in the attitude of giving, instead of taking. Loving yourself is to love the unique and wonderful way you were created for a special purpose, and to be in love and unity with your God and Creator.
This is why My first commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind, which reinforces the love within you from creation. My love becomes one with yours, and grows within you through experience. And as love grows, it will overflow onto others, leading to the second commandment, which is to love your neighbor as yourself. And as you love your neighbor as yourself it can change the lives of all around you.
The growing love within you can and will change the world. The love that gives can be like a wildfire, a refining fire, which can forever change the world. And as you live in this way, I will open the flood gates toward prosperity, and nothing shall be able to stop it.”
