A Prayer toward Fulfilled Destiny RHEMA WORD (11/ 09/ 09)

Father, I give you praise, honor and glory, for You are worthy in all and every way. I look forward to our time spent together, and realize how much I need You in my life and the importance of our time together. I am glad that You communicate to me, and often I wonder if those things which I write down are 100% accurate, and are truly from You, or could some be only my own imaginary thoughts, or things which I heard or read?

But I guess that the closer I get to Your heart and mind, it doesn’t really matter, because our thoughts become more and more alike, and more aligned with Your written scripture. You have progressively been replacing my old thoughts with that of the mind of Christ; which is a mind which believes and says, ‘not my will, but Your will be done,’ because that is Your primary will in regard to ‘Your kingdom come, and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ When that becomes our primary prayer, and desire, then I am living according to your will and purpose, in a brood sense.

Because in my heart, thoughts, and prayers, I am seeking your will, which is; ‘Your kingdom come, and Your will be done’. And because of that, scripture promises, through your written rhema word, that everything else will be added unto me.

So Father, in my prayers, let my heart, thoughts, and mind be that of Christ, who seeks first Your kingdom come, and Your will be done. And through faith believing, let your promises take care of every, and all my needs.

I am here on this earth for a reason, and here for Your purpose, to fulfill Your will. As I seek to fulfill Your will, it fulfills my destiny. As I fulfills my destiny, it brings me great peace and joy; knowing that I have a reason and the purpose for my existence.

As I spend time with You, You impart to me Your love, which flows through me to others, and returns back to You in an overflowing measure. The more love You give, the more I must release to others, because I really am unable to contain it, and hold it in.

I guess that I should consider my body as a vessel; that when You fill me up, it is for the purpose of giving the overflow to others. I guess that is what scripture describes through the parable of the bridesmaids’ having oil in their lamps. The oil being the Holy Spirit, which must be adequate to keep your light burning, and our salvation secure. The more of Your spirit we have, the longer and brighter our light shines. You give me the increase of Your oil in the intimate times we spent communing together, which keeps the flame burning.  And I praise you for that.

As I am being guided and directed in by your Spirit in the content of my prayers, you show me principles on how I should pray, and display your understanding of these things, and the importance of this time we spend together. Keep me filled with your oil through the long night, to continue burning brightly until you return, prepared, waiting and ready for the wedding feast. Father, I praise you for this prayer time spent together, and seek Your blessing and guidance; A-men.
