Praise and Prayer RHEMA WORD (9/ 13/ 09)

Father, how should I pray in accordance to your will? Am I thinking and praying as I should? It seems as though I am always dwelling on my problems, and begging you for solutions and help. Why is that?

“Praise and worship is the way you receive blessing, positive inspiration, hope and solutions. Instead of dwelling on your problems; think about the ways that I have I blessed you, and shown you mercy?”

‘Father, give me the inspiration to pray as I should:

Thank you father for all the good things you have blessed me with. For I tend to focus my problems and needs instead of thinking about the positive things you’re doing in my life.

Thank you Father for —-

Thank you for bringing love into my life —-

Thank you for helping me to —–

Thank you for my wonderful family, children, extended family and —-

Thank you for directing me to my church, pastors, friends and —-

Thank you for your financial blessings —- and all the things you have done, and are doing.

Who am I to complain, when I am so much better off than millions of other people in this world? I am abundantly blessed by You in so many ways, redeemed to be a son of the most high God of all creation and —-

Realizing this, in humility, I ask for you to continually remind me to focus on the good and positive, praiseworthy things You do in my life.  And help me not to complain or gripe about things that I don’t understand, and which seems to be undesirable or not good.  For I am often foolish, not accurately discerning what is best. What I may see as a curse, may actually be a blessing.

Give me wisdom and make me aware of the importance of the words I say. Prevent me from cursing myself or others. I repent of my past lack of control of the foolish thing I have said, which has caused damage to me and others.

Teach me to say things which are worthy of praise, which will open the doors to receive your blessing rather than your cursing.  And Father I thank you for directing my prayer in this way, to be in accordance to your will.”
