As David in scripture, I pray that you show me your ways, guide and direct my life to be in unity with your will. There is nothing more important in my life. Father, keep me in your presence, and give me joy and peace.

(3) HOW INTENSE IS OUR DESIRE FOR INTIMACY WITH GOD: “My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. (4) DESIRE FOR CORPORATE WORSHIP: “So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your loving-kindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. PRAISE: (str. 7623) the meaning goes in two directions; praising and calming, connected with the affect of words. (5) GRATITUDE TO GOD AND HIS NATURE “Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift my hands in Your name. (6) THE NEEDS ARE MET THROUGH GODS ABUNDANCE: “My soul (the real me) shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips. (7) PRAISE TO GOD FOR WHO HE IS, AND WHAT HE HAS DONE: “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on you in the night watches. Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds Me. —-“
