A Prayer of Commitment RHEMA WORD (6/ 05/ 09)

Father I give you praise for who you are, and what you have done, and continue to do for those who have accepted You, and are Yours. I am blessed to be Your son, and having You as my Father.

You hold my life and my future in Your hands. Because you love me, and all who are yours, you guide our lives in the ways we should go, and prosper us to be all we were created to be, and to do.

Father, I commit myself, and my day to you, and ask that you give me the strength to overcome temptation to evil, and to be free from sin. Lead me toward righteousness, and give me spiritual discernment and sensitivity to hear your voice, to understand and respond in obedience to Your wisdom, given in love.

I know, and acknowledge that You love me and desire to bless and guide me in the ways I should go. Help me to be Christ like, to put into practice; ‘not my will and self centered lusts, but let it be your will and purpose be done in and through my life, both now and forever.

Your kingdom come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Christ, Your Son, gave up his life to redeem me, so that I can forever be your child, to inherit all that is yours, so that my joy may be full. I also desire to give you my all, my life. I was dead, but you bought me, so that I may have abundant life eternal, filled with love, joy, peace, and fulfilled purpose.

For this reason I offer to you the totality of my life, all that I was, all that I am, and all that I will be, to become one with You, as the Son is one with you in mind and purpose. Cause me to be what I was created to be, and to be able to fulfill the destiny I was created to fulfill.

To my Father, Lord and Savior, I humbly give you all that I am, the good and the bad, to offer my allegiance to you, and to use me in any way you see fit. I praise and honor you with my whole heart, soul and mind. Awe-men
