The Power in Gods Word RHEMA WORD (4/ 20/ 09)

“The power in words is determined by the power behind the giver. If the giver operates with My power working within them, the things which are spoken have power and impact.

If My power and glory are not manifest in a person’s life, then what they say has little or no impact or power to do anything toward My kingdom. This also includes all and every aspect of a person’s life, as they present themselves as witnesses of their belief system.

Words without power and purpose are vain, rambling noise. Scripture states that you will be judged by the things you say. And the power, influence and impact of your words will be determined by what you do.

If you talk much and do little, your words will have little or no impact. But if your life reflects what you say, and you consistently put them into practice, then your actions help to verify your words, which give them power and impact.

This basic principal works not only for good, but also for evil. The enemy can inhabit and empower words, for evil and destructive intent and deeds.

But the righteous words of a righteous person I will inhabit. And I will empower the words of those who practice and do as they say, through My Spirit.

Often people in the Church are condemned for being hypocrites, because they don’t practice what they preach. It is better to say nothing, than to pretend to be someone you’re not, through deception.

Scripture says: ‘Liars will not inherit My kingdom.’ I have no tolerance for those who swear by My name, and use My name in vain. For such things you will be judged, and receive cursing rather than blessing.”
