(Psalms 37:37-40) ”Mark the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; for the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in Him.”
(Psalms 37:1-36) OUTLINE:
(v.1-3) Do not fret; trust in the Lord and do good.
(v.4-) Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give the desires of your heart.
(v.5-) Commit your ways to the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.
(v.7-) Rest in the Lord and wait patiently; and don’t fret.
(v.8-) Cease from anger and wrath; and don’t fret.
(v.9-) Those who wait, will inherit the earth.
(v.11-) The meek shall inherit the earth, having peace.
(v.16-) Righteous is better than riches through wicket means.
(v.17-) The Lord upholds the righteous.
(v.18-) Their inheritance is forever, unashamed, and are satisfied in famine.
(v.21-) The righteous show mercy and give; but the wicked barrows, and doesn’t repay.
(v.22-) For those blesses by Him shall inherit the earth; but the cursed shall be cut off.
(v.23-) Steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his ways. Though he falls, the Lord upholds him with His hand.
(v.25-26) The righteous aren’t forsaken, nor seen begging bread; instead he is a merciful lender, whose descendants are blessed.
(v.27-) Depart from evil and do good; the Lords justice will not forsake them, but preserve His saints forever.
(v.30-) The righteous speak wisdom and justice, because the law of God is in their heart.
(v.34-) Wait on the Lord, keep His way, and He shall exalt you to inherit the land.
(v.37-) The blameless and upright man, his future is peace.
