“If you diligently seek Me with your whole heart, soul, and mind, you will find Me. For many will come in My name, claiming they are mine, with a demonstration of perceived spiritual gifts, and will deceive many. They have no genuine desire to really know me; but their desires are in the gifts, power and authority to manipulate and control people, so that they may be able to satisfy their lust for power and wealth. That is why those who are truly Mine, must seek me with their whole heart, soul and mind, with a pure motive to commune with Me, and to intimately know, and love me.
Motive is extremely important to Me, because it reflects the condition of the heart. If you don’t take the time to seek me with all your heart, then My response will be accordingly. Because you have taken the time to write out your prayers, and have waited for Me to direct your thoughts, and to answer and teach you, I have responded accordingly.
King David consistently cried out to Me for a an intimate relationship. And for this, he became a man after My own heart, because he sought to know and understand My heart, to love and praise Me, and to do according to My will, in order to please Me. In spite of his failures, he always sought to restore the intimate relationship he had with Me. In the beginning, as a Sheppard tending his flocks in the wilderness, he devoted much of his time in communion with Me, which prepared him to fulfill his destiny as Israel’s best king, and the linage to Messiah.
There are people wanting the benefits of salvation, the spiritual gifts, and the promises in scripture which bring prosperity and blessings, yet they lack the commitment to really get to know and love me.
Many of My principles and promises are available to all who put them into practice, and blessings will come, but that doesn’t indicate that they have a right relationship with Me. Agape love brings peace and joy which comes through intimacy with me.
If you seek out the greater things, all the other things and blessings will fall into place, and also your eternal destiny will be secure in Me. Your righteousness will precede you, as you pray in accordance to My will and purpose, I will hear you, and answer your prayers.”
