As I watching a basketball playoff game, one of the commentators, a previous all-star player, stated that the loosing team lacked the belief and confidence that they were capable of winning. I thought that this parallels a spiritual principal of faith, believing that we can defeat the Devil, and our circumstances.
Then the Lord spoke: “My word say; ‘greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. You must have faith that this is truth, and not merely meaningless words, that deep down in your soul, you really don’t believe. For this is your strength and stronghold in Me. What you believe in your heart, soul and mind will affect your performance in every aspect of your life. What you believe and say will have power over your life.
A real winner never considers that he will lose, or not finish the race set before him. He maintains a positive attitude that he is able to be victorious; if not by talent and ability, it will be by will and desire to never relent, nor give up.
Even if you don’t win a race, the desire and will is never depleted to give up or quit. Instead a winner evaluates his weakness or lacking, and with determination and desire, works harder with persistence to become better, so that he may do better and greater.
For if you are in Me, and I Am in you, you are not a looser, but a winner. If you don’t win a race, it doesn’t make you a looser, but it should motivate you to make adjustments and improvements to do better the next time. It all goes back to your will and desire. Talented people don’t always succeed because they lack the will, desire and the discipline.
Remember that I take the weak, and make them strong, and the foolish things of this world to confound the world’s wisdom. Don’t believe the lies of the Devil, for he is always trying to defeat you, so that you will give up to success, and become a failure.
For, I am giving you a vision and a hope, for you to succeed and prosper. I offer, and desire to give you the faith to move mountains, and prosper in every aspect of your life. You may be weak, but I am strong, and I Am dwelling in you, and I Am the source and power that can cause you to succeed and have victory over everything, so that your joy may be full, which will also bring glory to Me. If you are Mine, you have been ordained to be victorious over the world and its powers and authorities. So start living as I have ordained you to live.”
