“There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the ways therein are the ways of death. This is also referring to making decisions and choices My ways, rather than the ways of the world. Many people as you have a tendency to make decisions based on logic and common sense, and then justifying your actions because it seems good, and it helps others. What seems to be right from your own logical perspective is often wrong in My sight.
For I know the motives of the heart, both in you, and the people you believe you’re helping. Often you don’t even know your own motive, nor do you know the motives of others. Without knowledge of motives, it becomes a recipe for bad decisions; with unforeseen problems. Unless I approve and ordain it, your perceived good works are fruitless and without merit. Often they are traps set by the enemy to side track you, lead you astray, to take advantage or use you, and even harm you.
Other times there are issues and problems I am trying to address, and work out in other people’s lives. And so I use hardship, trials and tribulation to lead them back to Me. When you interfere in the work I’m doing in their lives, you are doing them, yourself and Me a disservice.
This is why it is so important that you seek Me, knowing what to do, before you do things. For your destiny and purpose is based on this principal:
(Luke 12:47-48) ‘A servant, who knew his masters will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be severely punished. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of punishment, will face the consequences. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.’ Your destiny and purpose is not based on what you and others perceive to be good works, and what you have done for Me. Your destiny, purpose and fulfillment will be based and judged on what I have given you, and what I have ordained to do with what you have.
(Prov. 2:5-6) ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct your paths.’ So seek My wisdom; and in obedience Act on My will, so that I may be able to fulfill your destiny.
Many ministries and people are doing what they perceive to be good works, and claim they are serving Me. But often they are doing more damage to My kingdom than good, because I did not authorize, nor ordain their actions, neither empowered, nor bless ‘their ministries’. These ministries have become more a monument unto their own ego and fame. For this reason My body has become secularized, and the world mocks its hypocrisy.
So again I say, get wisdom from Me in all that you do, and in all your ways acknowledge Me and I will direct your path. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication make your request known to Me, and I will answer you and tell you what to do. For whatever you do for Me in work or deed, make certain that it is accordance with My will, and you will be rewarded for all that you do. For obedience is better than sacrifice.
(Matthew 7:21-24) Not everyone who says to Me ‘Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me you who practice lawlessness! Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.”
