“Don’t worry about tomorrow, because I am in control. I take care of my children, because I am in control, in both good times and bad times. I can make a way when there seems to be no way, and open doors of opportunity, when there seems to be no opportunity.
When the ‘Children of Israel’ was leaving Egypt, and entering the wilderness, they were faced with a multiplicity of choices and emotions. They were an enslaved generation leaving bondage, and entering freedom, which they didn’t understand. But freedom has a price, both in obtaining it, understanding it, and receiving it.
Freedom requires discipline to do what is right, understanding the ultimate consequences, and in turn using it for the benefit of all. As they stood in Egypt, on the shore of the Red Sea, with the pharaoh and his military forces at their back and an uncross-able sea in front of them, they had no option but cry out for My supernatural intervention.
I protected them and destroyed their enemy. Passage through the Red Sea became a baptism from death to slavery, to resurrection into new freedom from bondage. Stepping foot on the shores of a vast wilderness, created new challenges and insecurities to My people. They could logically see the potential for great tribulation, but when the sea was sealed behind them, they had no option but to depend on Me.
I proved My faithfulness, keeping them safe and secure with My power and glory within their mists. I took care of their every need. Through the process of tribulation and dependence I was testing and refining them, to inter a glorious land flowing with milk and honey. Yet the people were heard hearted, rebelled, complained and griped, because of difficulties in the refining process; stirring My anger.
Only Joshua, Caleb, and a new generation of My chosen, having a willing and teachable heart, were permitted to inter. Even though many were called, few were chosen to inter the Promised Land.
Today My people are in a similar situation. My children are standing at the threshold of interring the Promised Land, but most are unprepared, as it was with the Children of Israel. Many assume they are ready, but aren’t. Many also assume that they will not face tribulation, which is necessary to make ready My bride.
My people stand at their Red sea, with Lucifer and his hordes of demonic forces at the rear, seeking to destroy you. As Moses, Jesus can lead you through the baptism at the Red Sea, where My Spirit can empower, lead and guide your life. It will become your hedge of protection. Even in your walk through ‘valley of the shadow of death’, fear no evil, for I am with you and My power and authority protects you.
In the wilderness, My people were given everything they needed to survive. Through faith and dependence on Me, they were being prepared to inter, conquer and destroy corrupt kingdoms, and replacing them with a new kingdom where I could rule and reign.
But first they had to overcome their own strongholds, by purification through tribulation. Those who are protected by My canapé must not be lured and snagged into the enemies trap; such as discontent, leading to complaining, which leads to rebellion.
Praise Me in every situation, for I am a loving Sheppard, who wants’ your best. Without refinement and prepared training, you can’t be a victorious warrior, who can defeat the enemy, and inter My rest. Those who go against My ways are destroyed, unable to inter the land.”
