“Feelings affect the way you think, and activate your emotions. Feelings can constantly change daily or at any time of the day or night, depending on what stimulation has interred your mind and thoughts. That is why it is important to fill your environment with positive uplifting things.
When you are around depression and negative thinking, it will eventually affect your thoughts, feelings and emotions. Position yourself in an uplifting environment with positive people, who can stimulate you in that direction, in order to accomplish great and mighty exploits.
Stay away from those who refuse to change for the better. Those who prefer dwelling in a negative thinking lifestyle, see the bad side of things, the danger, the risk, the obstacles, the flaws in others, and things. Instead of basking in the light, they hide in the darkness, lack faith to succeed, avoid potential failure, and are content remaining in darkness and bondage.
They lack motivation and desire to escape their situation, believing that they are without hope, and any efforts to escape are futile. They have a warped sense of gratification, desiring and seeking people to feel sorry for them. What they don’t realize is that they are in a trap of the Devil, to disable them to not only be failure in the present life, but be caste into outer darkness.
Jesus came to heal the broken hearted. But for whatever reason that caused them to inter this mindset, they are given the ability to escape the bondage that keeps them in a dark pit of depression. But it has to be their choice and willingness to escape, seeking deliverance, before I can act on their behalf. I can heal them, but they must be willing to respond.
The way to expel darkness is to turn on the light. The best antidote for this is: daily prayer and commune with Me, praise and worship, meditate on scripture, fellowship with the faithful saints, and focused attention on whatever is good and uplifting. Remove and guard your minds from any and all things that pollute your mind and thoughts.
