Thanksgiving: Past Path laid, on which you Tread

RHEMA WORD (11/27 / 2014) “There are many who have come before you which have laid out the pathway that you now trod upon. They did what they were capable of doing with the knowledge, technology and natural abilities they had during their generations. The pilgrims came to America for religious freedom, missions, and a new start to a new and perceived better life.  Taking a risk, they stepped out in faith, having to trust in God, and living by faith and hard work. Some were leaving a bad situation, while others were seeking a better life or both. By My Spirit, desire was implanted within them, to take a risk to obtain a better life. Many had little or no reserves for security, but in spite of their lacking, they were determined to do what they thought was right, with no solid secure information, and no certainly of their future.  They were like the disconnected misfits which joined forces with David in the wilderness, fleeing the hostilities of King Saul. They left that which was familiar, to come to a new land they neither knew, nor yet understood what they would be facing. It was life the Children of Israel leaving Egypt, and going to the new Promised Land of God, to start over again.   That hope was religious freedom, to serve and worship their God, and become the chosen people that God intended them to be. To establish Gods kingdom upon the earth, and become a nation that displayed the blessings of God to all humanity. America became a nation under God, and prospered as long as the inhabitants live according to God moral ways. Abraham left his homeland to make claim to a new land that God would show him. If I Your God open doors, are you willing to step out in faith?  I know you better than you know yourself. I have heard you cry and petition for your life to count toward My kingdom. I desire to lead you, because in Me you are made complete.”
