Discernment: Who can be Trusted

RHEMA WORD (7/ 14 / 2014) “What you are asking for is reasonable, and according to My purpose. The first step was to acknowledge that you had a problem of being naive, without discernment, and casting your pears before swine. You have trusted people who should not have been trusted. For by their fruits their true character is revealed. And words must be backed up with actions.  And if their actions don’t line up with the words they speak, then there is reason to trust and believe what they say. If they lack discipline, and display a lacking of restraint to addictive behavior, or demonic enticements, and following the sinful nature of the world in words and deeds, then they should not be trusted.  Be aware of people who live a secret life, which is not transparent; and be aware of what may be hidden. If any issues which seems questionable about someone you don’t know, use discretion, and don’t make yourself venerable to a potential disaster. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.  It is always best to use wisdom and wait for clear direction and confirmation from My Spirit. There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing, posing to be someone they are not, to pillage the venerable and unsuspecting. There is nothing wrong in being suspicious, and seeking to know a person’s true character. Why should anyone open the door to a stranger to be used and abused; so it is better to be safe, than sorry.  Always ask and seek spiritual discernment. I desire those who are mine to be wise as serpents, but gentle as a dove. To love others as I love you, yet be wise to whom you yoke yourself together with.”
