MOSES: Long Preparation for Ministry

RHEMA WORD (5/ 06 / 2014) Moses’ destiny seemed insignificant until he encountered the burning bush. Now at 80 years of age, having been prepared in the wilderness, his time to accomplish great and mighty exploits for the great I Am, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Before that time he most likely had no idea what his future destiny would be. He fled from the Egyptian who sought to kill him, living in obscurity, in the wilderness without recognition, without a clue of earlier preparation for his coming future destiny.  Moses life after 80 would face a drastic change, of living by faith, not by sight. His status was of a Sheppard in the wilderness, humble without status, or worldly wealth. Yet in obscurity, God new his heart, and his nature, molded in his wilderness experience. When God called him through the burning bush, he questioned Gods judgment of selecting him, and gave excuses, that he wasn’t qualified or capable. But with God there is no mistakes, separating and preparing His chosen for service, in its due season.  In the wilderness Moses learned to survive. Yet from a logical perspective, what was achieved in his later years for Gods purpose, would never been expected. But with God all things are possible. Even that which seems to be impossible, our God can take the weak, the insignificant, and the frailties’ of humanity to confound the wisdom of the world. We are never too old, weak or insignificant to be used by God to accomplish His great and mighty exploits.
