“If you give your life for My sake, you will gain it. Where does life come from? Does it come from you, or does it come from Me? Did you create life, or are you the original source of life? You don’t need the answer, you know the answer. I Am the answer, I Am life, and all life comes from Me.
Idols have no life, and are only distractions to lead you away from Me.
In the broadest perspective, they are anything which consumes most of your time, allegiance and devotion, which draws you away from Me, and prevents our relationship from developing. But in reality there is much more to the concept of Idolatry.
From the perspective of many in westernized culture, they laugh at the absurdity of being compared to the ignorance of inferior uneducated tribal type people worshiping carved Idol of ancient deities. In spite of their mockery of such things, there are demonic powers and dark forces behind such objects. And for thousands of years this form of idolatry had been practiced, with its sacred rituals for a reason.
Without realizing it, pagan rituals are taking place all around you, without being realized or recognized, which are opening occult portals or doors to principalities, powers and demonic dark forces to enter and inhabit the earth. There are many methods and avenues that open the door, having been practiced for thousands of years.
Beside those things which are done in secret, there are many pagan rituals and practices done in public, in plain sight, and some which are done, are not even recognized or known to be pagan in origin. Such things as the use of mind altering drugs and potions, connected to witchcraft, sexual promiscuity, lust toward models which display and promote the perfect physical body, as it relates to pagan fertility practices. Abortion as it pertains to blood and human sacrifices to appease the pagan demon Gods. And music as it blatantly praises hell and the Devil, displaying pagan rituals as a form of demonic worship to disperse the powers of darkness to their entranced hypnotic listeners. The public Medias are filled with, and promote the pagan life style. And the list continues.
Idolatry has its roots in Lucifer, the Devil and his fallen angles, which rebelled against God and creation. Lucifer desired to be as God, his creator, and to be worshiped and exalted in power and authority as God. after the fall, when he and the angles who followed his lead in rebellion, were thrown out of heaven where God dwells to the earth, in a separate dimension of existence or heaven.
These dark forces developed their own counterfeit kingdom to retaliate against their God and creator. Their kingdom of darkness was fully implemented shortly after the creation of mankind, because of the fall of humanity, originally given dominion over the earth, they forfeit their dominion over to the Devil, who is presently hold the world captive through the powers of darkness. All paganism, Idolatry, and counterfeit religions come from the inspiration of the kingdom of darkness. All counterfeit religions are to pervert the truth, and used to prevent you from finding the truth of God and His truth, and His kingdom, to be restored to our God and creator, born again, into a personal relationship as children of God.
Knowing that we can be a part of Gods Kingdom, fulfilling the true destiny we were created for, which was to have dominion over the earth, to rule and reign with Christ, and having a personal relationship with our God and creator, we will be blessed instead of cursed. And until Christ comes we will be able to overcome the powers of darkness, and take back our the dominion that the powers of darkness has stolen.”
