“I Am giving a metaphor regarding opening doors and walking in my ways. Think about your body as the hinge how doors opens, either swing open to the right hand side or to the left hand side. A left swing represents access, guidance, and direction of the world’s ways. Conversely a right hand swing symbolically represents My guidance, direction, power and authority.
From the same perspective swing to the right is a clockwise moving in a forward direction; the other counter-clockwise direction is moving backward or in regression. So the right direction is forward instead of backward.
When you were born into the world in its corrupted state or backward regression opposite of where you were originally created and intended to moving toward. The word repentance means to turn about and go in the opposite or right direction. For My ways are opposite to those of the world, corrupted by sin. And the word sin means missing the mark.
And those who are in sin and the ways of the world will ultimately regress backward toward rebellion and death. But there is a pivot point, or the hinge that controls which direction the door will swing. At the hinge, Jesus Christ, you are given a choose to go in the right direction and move forward in a positive, progressive direction toward life and the destiny I have for you.
Unfortunately no choice leaves in the ways of the world, and repentance is the only way that turns you about, in order to go the right direction toward light and abundant life. That is moving forward in the kingdom of God, to fulfill the destiny you were originally created to fulfill.”
