Last night at 1:30 am, my dog was barking at something I assumed was outside my house but nothing was visible. Normally my automatic light censer would turn on the light, but didn’t. So I tried to calm down the dog, so I could go back to bed, but something continued to disturb him for a long time. Finely I got the dog to lie beside my bed. Shortly after, half asleep, I was hearing sounds, but assumed it was probably my imagination, which was similar to the late night sounds I heard at my previously owned athletic club, which was previously and old theater, built 1919.
After falling asleep I began having horrible nightmares, of dark green demonic forces trying to come upon me and overcome me. As this was happening I began to quote scripture which I had memorized to fight off the demonic powers. I woke up speaking out the scriptures which was being spoken in my dream. I spent some time praying about this mater, and went back to sleep. The following early morning at 4:00am, I was prompted to get up and write this down in my prayer journal. As I was writing a stray cat ran near the area the dog was barking at, and this time the area light up, and the dog remained sleeping. Then the Lord brought to memory that many animals are more sensitive to the spiritual realm than humans are, as the donkey of Balaam. Father, I prayed, make me sensitive to the spiritual things happening around me. And father show me how to pray for protection over my dwelling place, how to sanctify it, and protect it from the powers of darkness. Father, give me the proper words and show me how should do this:
‘Father, in the name of Yashua, Jesus Christ, I build the powers of darkness from having access to me or my dwelling place, home, and those things which my God and Father has given me to be a caretaker over. Father you have given me power, authority and dominion over the earth, as your redeemed son. And I accept that authority under the name and protection of your Son (Yashua, Jesus) and His power and authority working through me by your Spirit. I command you Satan (Lucifer, the Devil) and your agents to stay away from me, my family, my children and those people I have authority over. Satan you have no authority, nor right over them, or anything else that I have authority over. I place a hedge of protection around me, my family, and those things which Yawah God of all creation has given me Yashua His Son. I now prophecy this into existence, knowing that greater is He that is in me, is greater than any principality, fallen angles, demon powers, or disciples of the kingdom of darkness of the world. I welcome the power of the Holy Spirit to not only to dwell within me, but to work in power and authority, according to kingdom authority given me as a son of God.’
