LET JOY RULE YOUR LIFE RHEMA WORD (12 / 18 / 2011)

“In these dry times, when you’re struggling to experience joy and peace, do as David did, to build up your spirit in the Lord, through praise, worship, scriptures, and basking in My presence. When you’re down, the enemy comes in like a storm, to bring you down to the depths Of despair. But you don’t have to let it happen, because greater is He who is in you, than he which is in the world.

Be determined to let joy rule your life, and embrace the positive, and let go of the negative. You have a free will to choose whether to react or respond to negativity coming into your life, to soak in, and become saturated in its intoxicating effect, which cause fear and stress; or instead to recognize it as a test, perpetrated by the enemy, but allowed by Me, to test your faith, and develop your character and make you stronger.

This is how you learn to overcome your advisory the Devil, by believing and saying in your heart and soul and even speaking out: ‘I won’t let the enemy have any authority to overcome me, and I rebuke you Devil, in the name of Jesus, you are defeated; leave me now, because you have no power or authority over me because I belong to Jesus Christ. And My God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.’

And let that seed be planted in your heart: I will overcome, and use this experience to make me stronger, and to refine any weakness I may have. I am a son of the Most High God, and nothing shall defeat me, because Christ dwells in me through His Spirit, and I will not fear, because He has overcome the world. And I also shall overcome the world.

I may be weak, but with Christ in me, I am strong, and nothing shall defeat me. I am a member of the kingdom of God, and when the Devil comes to me, I will, through the Spirit caste him out and away, for I am guided by faith, not fear.

And if people lie, steal and deceive others through gossip about me, my God will judge their action, and cause them to face the consequences of their careless, deceiving, destructive words. For my God reveals truth to the righteous, and He knows my heart, and I will not fear man, but continue to do right before my God, and by my fruits, my work will exonerate me.”
