Every Person has Times of Encounters (05 / 18 / 2011)

“I, your Lord God, determine and ordain encounters to take place in the lives of people that both seek Me and are not seeking Me. Every person has times of encounters with me in their lives, which is the most opportune season for a time of decision. For some it is early in their life, and for others it may be latter part of their life.

Do you remember the parable of the labors who were hired to work, for an agreed upon wage, to work to harvest a field, for an agreed upon amount of time. Some started early and worked a very long day, others at different times, and some near the end of the day. Even though some worked many hours, and some few hours, the wages were the same.”

(Matthew 20:1-16) “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 and said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle, and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’ 7 They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’ 8 So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ 9 And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. 11 And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner, 12 saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ 13 But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”

So you think in your mind it seems unfair to pay all the same pay? Now think about the source, and motivation on that reasoning and thoughts. It is characteristic of the carnal nature of mankind, which include envy, jealously, greed, self centered focus, and what is perceived to be fair?

But consider:

(Romans 6:23) ‘For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.’  It’s not about money; it’s about obtaining Life over death.  And I desire that none should parish.

Who is the Righteous Judge, which determines fairness? How long does it take to develop, and to refine gold and silver, or to refine a person’s life into the image of Christ? What determines true value, refinement of need, and even the length of a person’s life? At what point has a person’s life been fulfilled, and destiny been accomplished in a life? And what acts or deeds have importance, according to My purpose? The answers are unclear to a human perspective.

But to the Righteous Judge, who knows all things, the answers are clear, and known. It is I who know the thoughts and nature of the heart, and I who knows the point when a person’s destiny has been fulfilled.  And for this reason no man should judge another person, not knowing nor understanding the nature and differences of their hearts and ordained purpose.

Judge only yourself to be all and everything I have created you to be. The wisdom to judge righteously comes from Me, the righteous judge, giving wisdom to those who will be trusted servants, able to judge the nations.  And those whom do not have My wisdom, through the Spirit, will not be permitted to judge.

Seek to become a living testimony of whom I Am, working and operating through you. Then you will be ready to do great and mighty exploits.”
