Why Worship God RHEMA WORD (02/ 24/ 11)

(1)   (Ex. 15:11-13) “Who else among the gods is like you, O LORD? Who is glorious in holiness like you — so awesome in splendor, performing such wonders? You raised up your hand, and the earth swallowed our enemies.”With unfailing love you will lead this people whom you have ransomed. You will guide them in your strength to the place where your holiness dwells.”

(2)   (Ec. 3:14) “And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose in this is that people should fear him.”

(3)   (Is. 12:4-6) “In that wonderful day you will sing: “Thank the LORD! Praise his name! Tell the world what he has done. Oh, how mighty he is!  Sing to the LORD, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.”

(4)   (Jer. 32:17, 19, 20) “O Sovereign LORD! You have made the heavens and earth by your great power. You have all wisdom and do great and mighty miracles. You are very aware of the conduct of all people, and you reward them according to their deeds. You performed miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt — things still remembered to this day! And you have continued to do great miracles in Israel and all around the world. You have made your name very great, as it is today.”

(5)   (John  4:24) “For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

(6)   (1 Tim. 1:17) “Glory and honor to God forever and ever. He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.”

(7)   (Rev. 19:6-7) “Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a huge crowd, or the roar of mighty ocean waves, or the crash of loud thunder: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and honor him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself.”
