(Heb. 12:1) “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us.”
(1) I will lay aside any unnecessary baggage spiritually and mentally which weighs me down, and holds me in the past.
(2) I don’t have to prove anything to anybody but the One who gives me life abundant.
(3) I’m leaving behind past regrets and failures, and striving toward fulfillment of my ordained destiny,
(4) And with realistic expectations,
(5) By discarding negative, self-defeating patterns; and to renew my mind to seek the positive motivation to achieve the destiny set before me, with strength and discipline.
(6) And to avoid and resist heaviness, and to yoke myself with the God of creation who gives me the strength, patience and endurance to excel in every circumstance.
(7) I will run destiny’s race as a champion; and never giving up.
