“Have you noticed that you experienced peace when you were willing to give up your burdens, losses and areas of stress? Do you realize that it is a sacrifice of faith, which believes that I have better things for you, giving you a future and a hope?
I have been preparing you for such a time as this, to give up past strongholds which had dominance in your life, which you weren’t even aware of, as pride. You pride fully boasted by saying: ‘I did this, or that, accomplished, achieved, or won all of this. Self pride has been among the hardest area for you to overcome, because of your psychological Feelings of being someone special. Because of this you developed traits to over compensate your feelings of inferiority and insecurity.
As with others, psychological abuse and past verbal downgrading, has warped their perspective of who they really are in Me. What is self perceived, often is the result of an absence of praise, acknowledgement, and gratification for jobs, projects, or things well done. Often when people subconsciously feel unqualified, inadequate or insecure, they tend to boast to build themselves up in the sight of others. Some people, to feel special or important, even embellish, lie or deceive others into believing that they are worthy of praise, or even exaltation.
There are curses that cause feelings of inferiority. Phrases such as: You’re not smart enough, good enough; not talented, qualified, capable, skilled, ambitious enough to succeed. Your stupid, hopeless, worthless, a looser, a failure, no good and you will never amount to anything, and you’re always wrong, bad or foolish. These are negative words and phrases that are demonically inspired, cursing both children and adults, which can root themselves into disabling strongholds, which shape a persons character.
Some except and believe these curses, and subconsciously allow them to dominate their life. With their own words, from the abundance of their heart, they prophesy their mindset with others. And when everything they do always seem to go wrong and fail, they complain, confirming, and reinforcing the continuing fulfillment of the curse statements which were initially used against them. This also opens doors to the soul, allowing demonic activity the right to continue to rob, steal and destroy their life.
While others, as yourself, try to overcompensate by going to excesses to prove that they are better or superior to the things which had been said about, or directed toward them. As you, many overcompensate by becoming overachievers and workaholics, as a means of attracting praise and exaltation, often leading to an elevated ego of self pride.
To many this may seem admirable, but there is a hidden agenda which goes beyond motivation toward achievement and success. That hidden agenda, is the fearful dread of failure. Fear of the subconscious planted root of failure, the curse, which could eventually happen. This also is an open door, a stronghold for the powers of darkness.
Because the motivation is fear of failure, insecurity, a low image of yourself, rather than faith and trust in Me, Because of this there is a tendency to boast and flaunt the things done, to receive praise and gratification from others. Often attempts are made to appear less obvious, but the primary motive is for self gratification and exaltation, to appear great in the sight of others.
In spite of the reasons, it is the fruit of ego and pride, which has prevented you from becoming the man you were meant to be. Pride comes before a fall. And a fall with a repentant heart leads to submission and humility to Me. For more than twenty years I have been working on your pride, and you’re almost there, where you can effectively be used for the purposes of the kingdom.
Do not boast about yourself, nor seek praise from others. But when praise is given, humbly say; ‘thank you’ and don’t allow yourself to be puffed up with pride or ego, as in the world’s ways. But instead give praise and glory to the one who gives you the grace, talents and ability to prosper. As prosperity come your way, give praise and glory to your father in heaven, who loves you and causes all things to happen for your benefit.
Take your eyes off yourself, and seek to be a blessing to your father in heaven, and those around you. Then you will become great in My kingdom, and also in the sight of others. For I have given you talents and abilities for the purpose of blessing and ministering to others.
As you bless, you will be blessed. As you step out in faith, according to My will, you will receive great reward, not only in this life, but also in the life to come. So, let Me lead you, and let Me open the doors of opportunity. Draw close to Me and I will draw close to you.
Our relationship will grow in love, and your other relationships will grow. Joyce is waiting for the Dave who is strong and solid in Me. A man who is guided and led by My Spirit, who displays the evidence that we walk together in unity; where others will see the evidence of love, joy and peace permeating from the abundance of the heart.
So be led by Me, and with surety and stability, lead her by example, and think about her, her needs above your own. And in turn your needs will be taken care of. I have been waiting for this to happen, and so has Joyce. In spite of hard times, better days are coming, and the joy of the Lord will be your strength, and fill your soul.”
