My Lord, God and Father has given a powerful prophetic word for his church from scripture which applies for today, of new beginnings, a new season, of a new year. The Word is from (Ps. 94: 1- 23), which is addressing three segments: (1) God is bringing Vengeance and judgment to the earth to punish the proud and the wicked; which is described in (verses 1-11). (2) Gods message to his people, who are protected and secure, through righteousness and an upright heart described in (verses 12-15). (3) The last is a commission and an evaluation, ‘who will rise up against the evildoers, with My help? (Verses 16-23)
(1) God is bringing Vengeance and judgment to the earth to punish the proud and the wicked; which is described in (Ps. 94: 1-11). “O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs – O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render punishment to the proud. Lord, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?
They utter speech, and speak insolent things; all the workers of iniquity boast in themselves, they break in pieces Your people, O Lord, and afflict Your heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, the Lord does not see, nor does God of Jacob understand.
Understand, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise? He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? He who instructs the nations, shall he not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.”
(2) Gods message to his people, who are protected and secure, through righteousness and an upright heart, described in (Ps. 94: 12-15). “Blessed is the man whom You instruct, O Lord, and teach out of Your law, that You may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance. But judgment will return to righteousness, and all the upright in heart will follow it.”
(Pr.16:3-5) “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” (If one turns over to the Lord what he plans to do, his life purposes will come to fruition. “The Lord has made all for Himself, yes even the wicked for the day of doom. Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; though they join forces, none will go unpunished. “
(Ps. 37:4-7) “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.”
(Pr. 3:5-6) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
(1 Pet. 5:6-7) “Therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
(3) A commission and an evaluation, ‘who will rise up against the evildoers, with My help? (Ps. 94: 16-23) “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would soon have settled in silence. If I say, ‘My foot slips,’ Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my anxieties within me, your comforts delight my soul.
Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, have fellowship with You? They gather together against the life of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood. But the Lord has been my refuge. He has brought on them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; the Lord out God shall cut them off.”
